Chapter 13 Curriculum vitae

Daniel João Kreiter was born March 1997 in Leiden, The Netherlands. He graduated from secondary school Gymnasium Juvenaat ’t Hart in Bergen op Zoom in 2014 and started his medical degree at Maastricht University, which he completed in 2020. During this time, he participated in research as well as web/software development projects at the departments of psychiatry, gastro-enterology and dermatology. After finishing medical school, he started his career as a medical doctor at the department of neurology at Zuyderland (Heerlen & Sittard-Geleen). In 2021, he commenced work on the research line on spinal cord lesions and imaging in multiple sclerosis under dr. Oliver Gerlach and prof. dr. Raymond Hupperts. The results of which are presented in this thesis. As of 2023, he started his training to become a neurologist, which he is currently undertaking.
